Denny spent over thirty years as a trial lawyer and brought his practice to Montgomery, Rennie and Jonson for the last two years. We were fortunate and honored to work with him. Denny generously mentored the younger lawyers in the firm and consistently exemplified the best of our profession. He was knowledgeable, ethical, unfailingly professional and courteous. Regardless of the case or its cast of characters, Denny won respect and friendship along the way. He leaves the profession with a roster of friends and well-wishers that spans virtually every courthouse, bar association, and law firm in Kentucky and southern Ohio. We received many congratulatory calls from the legal community when Denny joined us, and an overwhelming number of condolence calls when he left us. We miss him and he will be missed far beyond the office where he came to work each day.
